A single import (named patient supply) is permitted when there is a prescription for a specific patient and no equivalent authorised or available product exists in the domestic market. Orders are always placed through a pharmacy or clinic.

No. All research, import eligibility checks and quotations are free of charge and non-binding.
A single import requires the medicine to be authorised in at least one country. A compassionate use programme gives access to not-yet-authorised investigational products from ongoing clinical trials.
In compassionate use programmes, manufacturers often provide the products free of charge. For named patient and global access programmes, costs are covered after individual review by health insurers or within special clinic budgets.
